Enclosed with this letter are my continuing appeal to the United Nations and the international community for their help in mediating Burma's political disputes. In this regards, I should like to request the U.S. Congress and the U.S. Department of States to continue their support for Burma's democracy movement. I particularly wish you to make a visit to Burma in order to broker peace and dialogue in Burma.
I also take this opportunity to thank you and the U.S. Congress for your efforts that have been made to help Burmese people and Burma. The continuing supports to Burma democracy movemrts to Burma democracy movement by the Government of America and, in particular, the U.S. Prepresentative to the United Nations are most apapreciated by the Burmese people.

I should like to thank you and Mr Tim Fischer for your efforts, in connection with Mr Fischer's visit to Burma last December, to help solve Burma's political disputes. Enclosed with this letter are the communication to Mr Alvaro de Soto - U.N.'s Assistant Secretary-General for Political Affairs - and the current information regarding U.N. General Assembly 1995Assembly 1995. I would like to appeal you to continue your kind efforts in this matter and make initiatives to visit Burma. For your information, I have also enclosed the letter to the U.S. Congressman Bill Richardson to help us - the Burmese - in this matter.
I should also say, on this occasion, that in spite of the Australia's position in Asia being recognized as a middle-ranked-power, the Australia's influence upon the democracy movement in Burma is greater. It is certain that Burma will have to undergo an dergo an enormous social and political changes in the near future. I believe Australia, with its expertise on democratic institutions, is at the best position to help us in regards to these social and political changes.
